So Coatham House is going to be featured on the coming BBC2 documentary THE MIGHTY REDCAR.

We are featured on Episode 4 and the first episodes airs Thursday night 9pm on BBC2. Daniel Jewbury Director at the BBC said "I think it is marvellous what Coatham House has been doing for young people in Redcar, all these years. It is a brilliant place, with caring staff who know how to help people and where to send them to get help. I was very impressed."

The Sleepout 2017 was a huge success with over 40 people taking part and Barclays matching donations on the night up to £1000. Our total was £10,000 and every penny went towards our Homeless Young People.

We are looking foreword to our 2019

We would like to say a big thank you to St Bede's church in New Marske who have donated £500. This was matched by Barclays bank to bring the total to £1000.

We are going to use it for much needed laminate flooring for our properties.

It was collected by one of our former residents and now staff Laura Easton.

We're so pleased to have been awarded this again!

Thanks to Karen Whyman, Laura Easton, Kayleigh Shaw and John Thompson for going along to the ceremony and accepting it.

Coatham House is one of just 42 Yorkshire based community groups to be awarded the Duke Of York Community Initiative Award.

We are the only organisation in North Yorkshire to get 5 awards!
We were presented with the award on 12th April 2017
